Two international graduate programs in Physiology and Exercise Science/Exercise Physiology are offered at both M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels with many scholarships available for Thai and overseas students. The international atmosphere of the programs is promoted through many activities, such as international student/faculty exchange, overseas postdoctoral trainee, and international collaborations in teaching and research. Our ongoing research projects cover the study topics of both basic and applied sciences, at various levels of organization from molecule, cell, organ, to system covering most areas of physiology. As such, many state-of-the art scientific equipments and facilities are provided in the department to make possible high quality research of international standard. Examples of research groups in our department include: - Calcium and Bone Research - Cardiac Physiology - Drug Discovery and Membrane Physiology - Cancer and Degenerative Disease Laboratory - Renal Physiology and Membrane Transport - Exercise Metabolism - Muscle and Exercise Physiology Our staff presently has research collaborations with universities and institutes in USA, Europe, Canada and Japan. Our graduates are always encouraged to participate in oral or poster presentation in the International Meetings/Conferences. As a result, our graduates are in high demand by universities in the country as well as for postdoctoral positions in many top-ranked universities and institutes abroad.
